Vision Specialists Institute, LLC (DBA NeuroVisual Medicine Institute) (“VSI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) may send SMS text messages to individuals who have consented to receive them. These terms govern all SMS communications sent by VSI and its affiliated programs.
Program Description
VSI sends SMS messages for the following purposes:
- Internal Transactional Notifications — System-generated receipts, transaction confirmations, and operational alerts sent to VSI employees as part of their employment responsibilities.
- Patient Communications — Appointment reminders, intake confirmations, and care-related notifications sent to patients or prospective patients who have provided written consent.
- Lead & Inquiry Follow-Up — Follow-up messages sent to individuals who have submitted a BVDQ™ assessment or contact inquiry and opted in to receive SMS communications.
How to Opt In
You may be enrolled in a VSI SMS program through any of the following:
- Completing a VSI web form (including the BVDQ™ Assessment) and checking the SMS consent box.
- Signing an employment agreement or in-office consent form that includes SMS authorization language.
- Texting START or SUBSCRIBE to a VSI phone number.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation and no further messages will be sent. You may also request removal by contacting us here.
SMS Keywords
- STOP — Unsubscribe from all VSI SMS messages.
- START / SUBSCRIBE — Re-enroll after opting out.
- HELP — Receive program information and support contact details.
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies by program and is based on qualifying events (transactions, appointments, etc.). Message and data rates may apply. VSI is not responsible for any charges incurred through your mobile carrier.
Data & Privacy
Your mobile number and SMS consent are used solely for the purpose for which consent was given. VSI does not sell, transfer, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information collected through VSI SMS programs will not be shared with affiliates or third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
